This sector relates to projects funded by organisations and
covers a wide range of projects. We are able to tailor the
procurement route to our clients needs. Apart from the
normal traditional competitive tendering route we can offer
Design and Build, Partnering, 2 stage tendering, cost plus
negotiated, etc. The adoption of the best procurement
method will be governed by many factors e.g. timescales,
planning issues, buildability, tendering protocol etc . Along
with the design team of your project we would be able to
advise the best method. We have a successful track record of
working in operational areas, our safety policy and experience
in this field assists in minimising the inconvenience to our
operational clients. This sector also encompasses local
authority work where we have built up good working
relationships with Dorset and Hampshire County Councils,
Bournemouth and Poole Borough Councils and other LA
organisations. These have lead to some interesting
and worthwhile LA projects.
 
Insurance
 The company carries appropriate contractors all risks
insurance together with employer’s liability to the value of
£10 million and a £10 million public liability policy. We have
£2 million professional indemnity insurance in place
for Design and Build projects.

The commercial sector provides a large proportion of the
business Greendale undertake and it is an area in which
