Robert Hooker MCIOB Director
Studied building construction at Hertfordshire College of Building gaining HND in 1979. Trained in London with Y.J.Lovells, moved to Bournemouth in 1981 and joined Ernest Ireland Construction for 7 years gaining useful experience as Site Manager. Joined Horton Construction Limited in 1988 as Contract Manager on a number of projects including Swan Centre Eastleigh. In 1985 became a member of the Chartered Institute of Building. Rob promotes the CIOB Chartered Building company scheme & is actively involved with the Construction Best Practice programme. |

Chris Kane BSc (Hons) Build Director
Studied at The Polytechnic of Central London gaining a BSc Honours Degree in Building in 1987. Worked as a Site Engineer with Critall Construction Limited in London. Employed by Chase Manhatten Bank N.A. to assist resident Engineer constructing new Administration building in Bournemouth. Joined Horton Construction Limited as a Site Manager in 1988. In 1987 became an associate member of the CIOB. Chris works closely with the CITB and local colleges to promote training and is a member of the Dorset Construction Training Group. |

Dave Rixon MCIOB Senior Surveyor/Estimator
Studied construction at Bournemouth and Poole College gaining HNC in 1980. Completed training with Sleeman Construction as a Quantity Surveyor attaining the position of Senior Surveyor in 1989. Also gained valuable experience with local contractors such as George and Harding and Hall and Tawse working on a variety of contracts from £15,000 to £15 million including Local Authority works, Housing, MOD contracts, Hospital works and other such projects. Achieved full membership of the Charted Institute of Building in 1981. Joined Greendale Construction as Estimator/Surveyor in 1998. |

Maria Seabright Finance/HR Manager
Gained extensive experience in the local construction industry prior to joining Greendale Construction in October 1997 as PA/Office Administrator. After studying computerised accounts at Poole College progressed to position of Finance Manager. Maria is also Personnel & Training Manager for the company and currently is treasurer for the Dorset Construction Training Group. |

Christine Barker PA/Administrator
Gained experience at senior level as PA for local building company, working within the Construction Industry for the last 16 years. She has recently gained a BA(Hons) in Business Studies after studying at Bournemouth University on a part-time basis. Also responsible for the Administration of the company’s Health & Safety CDM Documentation. |

Sue Barnes Office Administrator
After moving to the UK from South Africa Sue joined Greendale Construction in July 2003 as an Office Administrator. Sue assists the Finance Manager in the day-to-day administration of the company accounts and also provides secretarial support to the Contract Managers. |

John Kirk Contracts Manager/Surveyor
Born in Bournemouth, trained as Junior Quantity Surveyor with Kenneth J Riley Practice. Studied Building Construction at Bmth & Poole College and gained HNC in 1975. Made the transition to Contracts Surveyor and joined Sleeman Construction in 1975, working on local contracts including Poole Arts Centre. Became Associate member of CIOB in 1979 and was promoted to Senior Surveyor. In 1988 took up position as Building manager with newly formed Delta Design & Build producing turn-key commercial projects. John joined Greendale Construction in 2003 as Contracts Manager/Surveyor.

Andrew Musselwhite MCIOB Contracts Manager/Surveyor
Originally an apprenticed carpenter and joiner, Andrew was a Joiner and later, Joinery Manager with D F Blanchard (Salisbury) Ltd. Continued studying to HNC and became a corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Building in 1999. Progressed to Contracts Manager/Surveyor with the added duties of Health & Safety Manager and Quality Assurance Manager. Later becoming Senior Surveyor. Worked on a variety of projects for the MOD, Councils, Housing Associations, and commercial organisations. Joined Greendale’s as Contracts Manager/Surveyor in September 2004.

Mark Burchell Contracts Manager/Surveyor
Originally an apprentice carpenter and joiner, Mark then progressed to Site Manager with Oakwood Shopfitting. In 1999 joined J M Scully as a Site Manager and then was promoted to Contracts Manager specialising in shop fitting work. Worked on local authority works and various new build projects ranging from £500K up to £3M. Joined Greendale Construction Limited in May 2006 as Contracts Manager/Surveyor. |
