We are absolutely delighted to announce that Greendale Construction Limited has been awarded the GOLD certificate from Investors in People (IIP).

Everyone at Greendale is absolutely thrilled of the Greendale Grafters – Stuart Harrison, Dave Neil, Chris Riddle and Will Spriggs, who successfully completed the Tough Mudder  event and lived to tell the tale! Thanks to their daring efforts and your generosity, they have raised a massive £1671.25 for the Amelia Grace Rainbow fund.

Stuart, said: “We had a fantastic day putting ourselves through a 12 mile run and 29 obstacles, which were extreme to say the least, but we suffered no lasting injuries!! The beer at the end was well deserved!!

“We endured ice cold water, pools of slurry mud, high vertical walls, monkey bars over water, the Cry Baby crawl and electro shock therapy, to name a few, but, are extremely proud of what we achieved and the good that this money will do for some seriously ill children.”

A HUGE well done to the Greendale Grafters!

Greendale celebrate making finals in the CIOB Construction Manager of the Year Awards

Grosvenor House Awards

Greendale was delighted to have made the finals for the 2015 CIOB Construction Manager of the Year awards.  The event is the gold standard of award accolades where the CMYA offers the unique chance for construction managers to compare themselves with their peers.

The CMYA awards are renowned for their rigour and fairness. Every year the elite judging team, made up of members of the CIOB board, spends six months and clocks up a total of 15,000 miles interviewing candidates and visiting every shortlisted site.

Becoming a finalist shows flair and skill, and we are proud that Scott, who was site manager on our major Hall and Woodhouse, Blandford Brewery project, made it to the finals in the new build & refurbishment £3 to 6 million category.

The competition covers projects of all sizes and is open to all site-based managers – whether CIOB members or not.

CMYA is the only event that celebrates the imagination and professionalism of construction managers.

The guest presenter for the night was Natasha Kaplinsky.  There were 69 finalists over 11 categories with headline
sponsors including the CITB, Construction Manager magazine.
