Breeze Volkswagen unveils new ‘blended retail concept’ created by Greendale

We are delighted to have successfully handed over a 5 week refurbishment at Breeze Volkswagen’s Poole branch, in-line with the brand’s pilot scheme of creating a ‘blended retail concept’ across its showrooms.

Greendale’s small work’s division has created a new, more usable and modern environment for both the staff and customers by increasing usable space within the existing sales managers’ areas and updating existing services to improve the new proposed office layout.

Partitioning was replaced with new, creating larger working areas.  Greendale also increased useable space to showcase vehicles, as well as creating more customer seating by removing the offices and integrating existing finishes into new. The remainder of works involved creating a new admin office space through installation of new partitions allowing more privacy within this area for Volkswagen employees.

Breeze Volkswagen Brand Manager, Mark Langford, said: “The new concept showroom focuses entirely on our cars and our customers. We are really proud to be chosen as a pilot scheme and can’t wait to show our customers.”

Eco-friendly ‘green-build’ refurb for waterside property in Poole

We are currently working on a very interesting waterside property refurb on the banks of Poole Harbour which comprises a complete transformation of a house built in the nineties.
Two extensions are being constructed with a new boat house – complete with a new slipway into harbour. All on piled foundations. New electrics will be installed and mechanical services including underfloor heating system.
The children’s wing will be created with own kitchen facilities and spiral stair to living areas.
Magnetic plaster will be used in the children’s play area.  This means that the wall will be able to be used to place anything magnetic – just like a fridge door!
This is a ‘back to brass tacks’ refurb, so all new kitchens, bathrooms, shower rooms and utilities and laundry, as well as new joinery doors fit out.
Most importantly, all green eco-friendly products will used in the re-construct; porcelain tiled floors, no MDF, no off gas on finished construction process, solvent and VOC free glues, adhesives and grouts used. Lakeland Eco paints have also been used.
Externally new Mill board deck, and RB forcourt with new fences and entrance gates.
A children’s soft play area will also be created.
This is a great collaborative project with ‘The Kitchen Poole Park’ team;  DMWA architects and Project Manager Rachael Pountney.
The project is due for completion End Oct 2016 and will have been a duration of 60 weeks.

We are absolutely delighted to have raised such an incredible amount from our homemade cake and jam sale.  Thank you to everyone who popped in to buy some cake, have a coffee and take home some pots of Maria’s homemade jam – we couldn’t have done it without everyone’s amazing support.  We are also so thankful to everyone who spent their weekend baking scrummy cakes to fill our cake table and cake boxes!

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone!

The funds raised are going to really help little Bobby and his family who have been busy making delicious cakes of their own!  You can follow Bobby’s Future on FB by clicking here to keep up to date with Bobby’s progress and his amazing family!
