New build 1500m2 luxury property. Construction included RC basement using waterproof concrete. Main superstructure cavity brick using European size briquettes and block work inner skin, steel work frame and wide beam precast concrete slabs forming floors.

The property has a cut roof with sprocketed eaves. Internally many of the upper rooms have vaulted ceilings with painted TG&V;above the rafter lines. The roof coverings are a combination of imported clay pantiles or miniature size reclaimed roof slates. A separate Spa Building and Outside Swimming Pool was built as part of the contract.

After a lengthy planning process the projects brief was to simply created a space to exploit the stunning surrounding views of the Dorset coastline.

The house has high level of finish including bespoke oak staircase, bespoke painted hardwood windows, wide plank oak floors, frameless structural glass and various stone and tiled areas. Meeting sustainability requirements the house and pool are heated via ground source heat pumps and solar renewable energy.
