St Columba C of E Academy

Fareham, Hampshire

As part of Hampshire County Council's programme of upgrading its Schools, Greendale was pleased to be awarded the refurbishment of the existing SCOLA 2 block at the Academy. This was a ‘back to brass tacks’ restoration where the existing cladding, asbestos and windows were carefully removed and replaced with new highly insulated products.

The inside of the block was fully refurbished including a new heating system, children's toilets, kitchen facilities, flooring and decorations. Refurbishment works to other existing blocks on the Academy Campus were also carried out, which involved window replacement, brick cladding and new upvc fascia and soffit work. The work undertaken was carefully managed and planned to protect the safety of the children and staff and minimise any inconvenience to the operation of the School.
